Kids Day At The Farm

This past weekend the Smiths headed to Rich Farms' Kids Day at the Farm. It was such a perfect fall day with comfortable temperatures and sunny skies. We really couldn't have asked for a better day. Having never been to Kids Day before, we really didn't know what to expect. Trampolines, hay mountains, merry go rounds, see-saws, mini train car rides, hay rides, and pumpkins is what we found waiting on us.  Ella had an absolute blast. The day was full of smiles :)

Choo Choo Away!

Ella might be obsessed with Choo Choos. And by might I mean she is.

It only started a couple of weeks ago. Due to a scheduling conflict, Ella gets to come to the dance studio with me once a week. A lovely mother of one of my fellow dancers, Miss C, watches her. Ella absolutely adores her. In the mall, where my dance studio is located, there is a train display. You can put a quarter in to watch the trains chug along the tracks. During one of the outings in the mall, Miss C showed Ella the choo choos. All evening, and the next day, and the next (it has yet to stop) all I hear is choo choo? Don't even think that we can go to the studio without me packing several quarters so that a certain someone can go watch the choo choos.

The kid is pretty smart. She has begun to recognize the parking lot where we park for my dance studio. As soon as we are parking, she asks choo choo? So we did what any parent would do and bought her a choo choo set and a choo choo book. Do you even have to ask? She LOVES them! I may have read her book 5 times in a row the first day she had it. CHOO CHOO!
